Hard to watch
I wasn’t even into the movie 10 minutes and couldn’t bare to watch any more. That’s not because it’s too scary or gory either, I love horror films. This movie is just bad, with poor movie quality and bad acting!

Disconnected horror fable
The idea and the execution aren’t bad, but we’re always aware this is shoestring production, and end up marveling at the way it’s made on the cheap, rather than actually falling into the story. After a psychiatrist suddenly dies while researching a patients journal, the job passes to Dr Philip Tanner, who soon figures out the secrets of the diary. More of a thriller than any type of actual horror picture, we’re presented with an interesting concept, and serviceable acting. A decent production, but we’re always aware of limits of the filmmakers. Horror completists and genre obsessives will have to see, for some of the interesting ideas in the film. Most others should question how much time they’d like to invest. 4/10.
