A Nice, Little Lifetime Stocking Stuffer
This Lifetime mini-movie is a true gem for the holidays. Megan works as a glorified gofer, bring her boss lattés in the morning and suffering the indignities of her callous colleagues who out-mustle her at work.

But Megan’s wise old grandma knits her a Christmas gift of an ugly red sweater. The film turns on the moment when Megan wears the sweater to work. When she is shamed in the coffee shop, Megan explodes in an outburst, defending the sweater and her grandmother. A customer catches an image Megan’s tirade on his cell phone.

When she arrives at work, Megan is bracing herself for more humiliation. But, it turns out that her submission of a hashtag line for one of the company’s clients turns out to be a hit! Megan’s picture from the coffee shop goes viral along with the hashtag, now starting a new trend towards “ugly”! In the process, Megan no longer has to bring coffee to her boss, and she may even have a new boyfriend!

This endearing 10-minute shorty was a gem, especially due to the wily character of the grandma. Let’s all get in the holiday spirit with three cheers for ugliness!
