Dreadful
There isn’t much good to be said about this film, it’s bloody awful. Poorly written, poorly directed with amateurish acting. None of the actors seem well trained in their craft, then again they really don’t have much to work with; due to severely under-lit gloomy settings three of the male characters resemble each other and I wasn’t sure whether they were cops, bad guys or prison attendants. Time shifts in the story make it really hard to follow with uneventful, lame flashbacks. Unnecessary colour filters over key scenes are annoying & one can only presume that they were added to hide production errors or in an attempt to add some much needed tension. The ‘action’ scenes consist of attendants from the prison/dungeon running around swearing, and the ‘payoffs’ are excruciatingly inept. Really, don’t bother.
