One remake that outshines its original
While ‘Ringu’ (Hideo Nakata, 1998) is a good horror movie, ‘The Ring’ is an improvement in every way over the original – from its creepy set pieces, stunning cinematography, to Gore Verbinski’s deliberately paced direction and Naomi Watts’ engaging performance. One of the scariest films of all time.

My 1,500 review one of my favorite horrors!
Proud of this one I’ve wanted to own for so long and glad I chose for halfway to 2K reviews! Gore Verbinski directed a crafty effective beautiful lit cinematography with amazing sound design that I crave. It deserves the 7.1 rating my sisters used to get nightmares from the film especially cause of the bathtub scene late into and the horse catastrophe that is kinda traumatic for a PG-13 rating. Naomi Watts is superb, its even the 2nd movie I own with Martin Henderson which is Smokin Aces he’s great in this. Everything with the 7 days horror is great better than a lot like the genre.
