Simple plot, but the animation works.
Super Monsters and the Wish Star is a Christmas film, but I didn’t know it was. If I know it was, I would rather watch this one in December, not now. So, it was really weird to watch Christmas film in May. I mean, it’s way passed Christmas. Thus, I feel it’s a bit strange.

The story of this animation doesn’t have many contents. It’s based on how they are preparing for Christmas, making wishes and all. But the animation and the voice acting are not bad. Because it’s from Netflix, so, I didn’t have that much hope. By the time I watched this one, I felt Christmas made family to be together, to be closer, share experiences and etc. I’m not Christian, but I can feel that Christmas is kind of an important event.

Because the story is so plain, it makes this short film part of TV series, an episode from TV show. I don’t know it’s from a TV show or not, the animation is amazing done, so, it’s worth to watch it once.
