Watch: Suntan 2016 123movies, Full Movie Online – For middle-aged Kostis, life has passed him by. As the newly appointed doctor of a tiny island, Kostis spends a dreary winter alone. By the time summer arrives, though, the island has turned into a thriving, wild vacation spot with nude beaches and crazy parties. When Kostis meets the beautiful and flirty Anna, he falls hard for her and goes out of his way to conquer and impress her. Before long, Kostis is spending nearly all of his time getting drunk, partying hard, and even making out with Anna. What starts as a rediscovery with his lost-long youth, though, slowly turns into an obsession as Kostis is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his Anna. Suntan celebrates the beauty and strength of the youthful body, while simultaneously embracing its inevitable decay..
Plot: Kostis is a 40-year-old doctor that finds himself in the small island of Antiparos, in order to take over the local clinic. His whole life and routine will turn upside down when he meets an international group of young and beautiful tourists and he falls in love with Anna, a 19-year-old goddess.

A great little film about unfulfilled love in an island paradise.
I have to say that I really enjoyed the way this film unfolded. And it seldom happens watching movies anymore, lately scenarios are predictable and repetitive, this one is none of these. The director did a superb job in building up his characters. The movie’s main theme shows how desire can blind you to the point that you have no self awareness, where the central character becomes hypnotized and losses all sense of his dignity and humanity. Makis Papadimitriou who plays a single, unloved solitary man in his 50’sis, does a superb job. He is an older man who falls madly in love and although at times he had to be excessive, his acting was realistic and left me suffocating, wanting to get into the screen to stop him. The cinematography was amazing, set in a sleepy sandy little Greek island, a paradise, a place that we would all want to fall in love.

Hedonist versus bon-viveur
What a great little film about a middle aged, middle class doctor who is lonely without knowing it. Without knowing it, he craves adventure. He craves love. He is a bon-viveur. He meets a group of hedonistic Europeans and falls in love with a young woman he treats at his surgery. A young woman who expects he shares her care free, hedonistic attitude to life, and (free) love. Middle aged bon viveur, meet young hedonist. It can only go one way, and it ain’t pleasure but pain. A fantastic addition to the growing ‘Greek Weird’ wave of films (Pity, Dogtooth, and the English language yet very Lanthimomian Killing of a Sacred Deer and The Lobster. If you enjoy your humour with coatings of tragedy, this film, and indeed this genre is for you. Bring on the next wave of Greek weird…
