Three young rap artists are looking for a break. They need money to buy some music equipment so they can go to Las Vegas and enter a contest. They meet up with a local pimp named Mack Daddy who agrees to “hook them up”, but later declines. The rappers want to get even with him so one night they break into Mack’s place and steal a lot of his jewelry, gold, and even the medallion from an ugly looking statue. Shouldn’t have done that! Because without the medallion, the statue transforms into the Leprechaun, who goes on a killing spree looking for his missing gold, once again! And the song says it all, “there’s nothing’ scarier than a Lep’ in the hood!”.
Plot: When Butch, Postmaster P, and Stray Bullet loot the local hip-hop mogul’s studio to fund their demo album, the threesome unwittingly ends up with the secret of Mack Daddy’s success: a magical flute. Their gigs instantly turn golden but a blood-thristy Leprechaun and an angry Mack Daddy are hot on their trail, leaving a wake of destruction tainted by politically incorrect limericks.

This was such an embarrassment to watch. Somehow, even after going forward and seeing all the crap that the _Leprechaun_ franchise had to throw at us after this one, _in the Hood_ still managed to end up being the worst.

Seriously, this is the funniest movie I have ever seen. True, judging by the name alone you can tell it has to be pretty funny. If you haven’t lost it by the end of the prologue, you have no sense of humor at all. I mean, the whole scene (not just the concealed items in the fro part) is very comically well done! The movie alone beats anything Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, or Chris Rock have ever done. This is the comedy that beats all comedies. It— Huh? It’s supposed to be a horror flick? Huh. You learn something new every day. Well, it’s funny, and a fun way to spend a Friday Night with friends who do not take everything seriously.

Every now and then every one decides to start rapping. 5. every other word is mother f*ck 6. It works on the level of a ‘gansta’ drama….then you realise there ‘homie’ was killed by a leprechaun rather than in a drive by. 7. that leprechaun got some major gold. 8. the leprechaun has sex…..with a transvestite. 9. they defeat him by having him smoke a four leaf clover. 10. I like waffles.

If you don’t want to see it now then you must be crazy. Its the best movie i ever brought from behind the shelve at a garage.
