Hallmark Netflix
No pun intended – and I do not mean to make light of Hallmark movies. Unless you find them annoying – but why are you here if that is the case? I think the title is quite the easy giveaway. Lohan plays an adorable and yet quite shallow character … some may confuse her character with her own personality. I do not know her, but I would assume she is way more than that. Also: acting.

All that aside, the movie and the story (if you can call it that) is quite predictable. We know where this is going … suspend your disbelief, check your cynicism at the door and just watch it and enjoy the silliness and … well whatever you would call this “sweet” movie.

Also there are some fun bloppers/gag reel at the end of the movie (during the end credits)

Is the plot very predictable? Yes.

Is the movie super cheesy? Yes.

Is the movie super silly? Yes.

Do we get all the romcom cliches? Oh yes.

So that makes it the perfect Christmas movie!

It is nice to see Lindsay Lohan back in action, looking happy and healthy.

Do not expect any Oscar worthy performances, but all the actors in the movie are good and well casted.

The decors are super chrismassy and get you in the holiday spirit straight away!

Yeah, if you’re not into the Christmas – romcom genre you’ll hate it. If that genre is right up your alley; get your blanket and hot cocoa. Sit back and enjoy!
