Yawn.
The animation is amateur, audio track not properly aligned with animation, and a very thin plot. Story plays like someone wrote the script in high school computer arts class. Very bizarre all around and a complete waste of viewing time.

Wonderful little movie for kids!
I saw it with my little girl who is 6 years-old, and she liked it! The cinema was filled with kids….might have been around 70 or 80 kids. It was fun, exciting and the kids were commenting on the scenes.

It was a lovely little story about friendship, confidence, honor & loyalty. Sure its not Disney, Dreamworks or even Pixar quality, but for an indie-animated film designed for children, I thought it was quite good.

This time around, its girls who are front and center throughout the whole film and they have to look after themselves, instead of a macho or smarter fella showing up to show them how to make it on their adventure. Some of the characters make mistakes….and pay for them. Like real life, you learn from your mistakes and more importantly; own up to them.

Not sure why this movie is getting so much hate. Like said, its for children. Just by looking at the poster or even photo stills, you can tell its not for older children.

If you have small kids, give it try. I think they might dig it. Just like my beautiful little girl did =D Ella was a brave girl. Good message for kids. Especially little girls.
